Use
food containers with white lids to make finding your bait easier, and to make
it less likely to be left behind when moving swims, in the dark.
| Try
to keep the use of a head torch
to an absolute minimum. To this end you can stick white tape to a few things in
order to make them easy to find in low light. Your landing net pole, for example.You
can also stick some tape to your Baitrunners as shown on the left. If the tape
is visible, the Baitrunner is not engaged. A quick glance will prevent a rod getting
dragged off the rests! | Painting
the tops of rod rest heads (John Roberts Windy Rests) white really does make locating
them with the rod far easier in the dark and is less outlandish than the luminous
